Marriage Ceremonies

You can say, "I do," for an affordable price at this vacation rental. The Windham Country House has served parties of up to 12 people - the happy couple and 10 guests - all staying together to relish the celebration.

Owner and host Michael Simonds, a justice of the peace, has performed many weddings. Michael will encourage you to create a service that is truly your own, offering suggestions for your ceremony if you want them. Whatever words you say or decorations you use are up to you. This is your day and your wedding!

On April 7, 2009, Vermont became the first state in the USA to legislatively establish the equal right of all couples to marry. Anyone who wants to tie the knot with a simple ceremony and a small gathering of loved ones is welcomed to do so at the Windham Country House.

You'll pay only the regular inexpensive rates of the Windham Country House, plus $125 for Michael to perform your wedding.
