Great Room

The Great Room of this Vermont rental provides plenty of space for everyone to be together.  Its 600 square feet include the kitchen, dining area, billiards area, living space, and entertainment center. Floors of wide-board knotty pine stretch throughout. Two large picture windows look south with more windows facing east and west, so outdoor scenery can be enjoyed throughout the day. A door leads to the screened porch looking out at the Turkey Mountain Ridge.

Many good meals have been prepared in this Vermont rental, which is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, bagel toaster, coffee maker, blender, plentiful dishes, utensils, etc. Because the kitchen is a part of the Great Room, cooks do not miss out on the fun.

Sharing meals is always a favorite thing to do, and there are many other options as well.  The billiards table provides hours of fun.  The TV receives numerous channels via satellite and has a hook-up for video games. There's a DVD player, a VCR, and a collection of movies. Board and card games are provided, as well as numerous jigsaw puzzles. There are also a radio and CD player and a library of entertaining and informative books. Everyone in your group will find something fun to do.

The screened porch is another popular gathering space at the Windham Country House.  In winter, it is used by smokers.
